One of my favorite things about visiting the same beaches throughout the year is seeing how dramatically the view can change with the season, time of day, and weather.
For this collection, I created each piece with three layers of linocut printing for the water, then hand-drew each sky with chalk pastel to capture the unique mood of the scene.
Each piece comes ready to hang in a gold 8” x 8” frame, finished with a double mat to protect the delicate pastel work.
A little reminder that even a familiar view can look completely different depending on the moment.
